Dreghorn Railway Station

Dreghorn railway station was a railway station serving the village of Dreghorn, North Ayrshire, Scotland. The station was originally part of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway.
History
The station opened on 28 May 1848,<ref>Wham, page 57</ref> and closed in October 1850.<ref name="butt">Butt, page 82</ref> The station reopened in May 1868,<ref name="butt"/> and closed permanently to passengers on 6 April 1964,<ref name="butt"/> although the line between Irvine and Crosshouse was still in use by trains until October 1965.<ref>Stansfield, page 26</ref>
