100px Unclassfied Bealach na Ba Applecross Lochcarron 2054' Gaelic for "The Pass of the Cattle", it is famous for its tight hairpin bends and 20% gradients. Was once the only route to Applecross.

100px Unclassfied Mam Ratagan Pass Shiel Bridge Glenelg 1138' (347m) The only route into the lonely Glenelg peninsula, from where the Glenelg - Kylerhea Ferry crosses to Skye.
100px A93 Cairnwell Pass Braemar Glenshee 2199' The highest main road in Britain, the southern ascent used to use the notorious Devils Elbow bends, which is now bypassed.

100px M74 Millbank (Junction 12) Abington (Junction 13) 1060' according to a press report Unmarked by any sign but believed to be the highest motorway in Scotland and highest point on the London-Glasgow route.
100px A74(M) Beattock Summit Crawford (Junction 14) Beattock (Junction 15) 1029' The height was shown on a pre-Worboys sign on the old A74 (now B7076), which is bypassed by the modern motorway. The 1015' summit of the Carlisle-Glasgow railway is in a cutting alongside.
