The Road list template returns a list of roads within a category with the same name as the page it is placed upon. It seems to create the list by reading the parameters in each individual Infobox down the right hand side - which may mean that it is extremely system intensive. Exactly how it achieves it is currently under investigation - however, Template:Routebox dpl2 is certainly part of the process.
It may be necessary to retire this template if the concern about system impact is correct.
To use this template, copy the code below, replacing anything within <tags> as appropriate.

<notcategory> - If used, any road within the specified category will not be shown in the table.
<nokey> - If used, the key to the table will not be shown. Anything entered here will cause the key to not be displayed.
