The Colours

A1	- primary a-road

A2	- proposed primary road (or primary road under construction) or unbuilt primary road

A3	- non primary road

A4	- proposed non primary road (or non primary road under construction)

A5	- former road or section of a road

M1	- motorway (or a-road under motorway regulations)

M2	- unbuilt motorway or section of a motorway

M3	- proposed motorway (or motorway under construction)

M4	- former motorway or section of a motorway
